October 23: Savannah Bee Garden Tour & Lunch

We’ll start our morning at 10:30 at Savannah Bee’s Wilmington Island location where we will learn all about honeybees, beekeeping, and the impact bees have on our everyday lives and the environment. We’ll even suit up in proper beekeeper protective clothing to get up close and personal with a working beehive. And of course, there will be ample time to sample their wonderful products. Following the tour, we’ll be lunching at nearby J. Thomas Kitchen where we will be ordering off the menu. If you haven’t been to this popular new eatery, you’re missing quite possibly the best food in Savannah. Carpooling will be organized from The Landings. Figure on a 10 a.m. departure and returning by 2 p.m. The tour cost is $8 and can be paid on the day of the tour. RSVP to Allison by September 26th. She will be travelling out of the country until October 19th which is why she is requesting reservations well ahead of the tour date.
